Consistent 7-9 deg C difference between Core 0 and Core 2 (2600k). Normal?

I'm in the process of overclocking my new Sandy Bridge setup, and I'm finding temps are a little high for my tastes. Max with Prime 95 and Intel Burn Test ranges from 68 C on C0 to 77 C on C2 (temps by Real Temp). Idle is between 33 and 41 C across the board. I'm only running at 4.5 GHz and 1.31 V (was getting BSOD after 45 mins with 1.29 V), which seem like pretty conservative settings. Do these OC settings seem normal?

As it says in the sig, I'm using a CM V8 and Coolermaster HAF X, so I thought my cooling should be pretty decent. I'm using ZEROTherm paste, but it's about a year old (though capped the entire time). Should I look at a new cooler, like the Noctua NH-D14? I like the insane cooling it provides, but I hate the low clearance for RAM sticks. I thought about a Corsair closed water solution, but they're apparently pretty noisy.
 
the temps are perfectly normal. as far as the difference between cores, it can happen but the easiest way to test it is by reseating the heatsink. if it happens again, then its most likely just the sensor is configured wrong.

as far as the H50/60/70 being loud, the H70 is on the noiser end, but the H50 and 60 are pretty much silent, and if you spend an extra 10 bucks on some new fans instead of the stock ones it solves the noise problem.

Thanks. So you don't think these numbers are on the high side for my setup? Most people I read about have temps closer to 65-70 C with similar settings (and many without the great cooling of the HAF X case...) I just wonder if everything is right here. I'll try reseating it like you suggested and see where that gets me.
 
The core temp split is normal on the 2600K, so nothing to worry about there. Your temps seem a little high for that voltage, but nothing to worry about.
 
I just got my 2600K and it does the same thing. I will reseat it tonight to see if it makes a difference.
But from the looks of it, others are receiving the same results.
