Here's my current system:

AMD Athlon XP 1900+ (1.6Ghz)
512MB PC-2700 DDR
Geforce 4 Ti4600

Now, I am considering another 512 stick to bring my total to 1gb. This would be the cheapest upgrade for me (well, I could upgrade the CPU a few hundred Mhz for about the same price...)

Will this increase my overall performance any?

agian i will say 1 gb of ram should be a standard these days

you could always goto a xp2700 for the same cost. I think this would be better

so xp2700 or another 512?

opinions?

and will a T-bred processor (the xp2700) work in my A7v333? Not sure what kind of core this 1900+ uses...

Get the extra 512, helps in anything you do especiall games...

You need to get a better CPU before the gb. It would just be weird having a gb with a 1900+.

well i have no idea what will and will not fit in my mobo (asus a7v333) when it comes to cpu's....

goto asus's website and look up ur board, see what it supports.

hopefully he doesnt play cpu intensive games and play memory intensive..no wait...
