Hi , i have just boght a E6600 and i have a Elite Pro XFI soundcard with a 7950, now i want a board which can take all these things .

Can you lot think of any boards that can do this ?
I have seen two boards from asus but i dont know whether it will be able to take the 7950.

I have checked on the compatible list of mobo from nvidia but it isnt on . Also i have also seen big companies who have used a 7950 with a conroe but i still dont know whether it will do quad support.

Is there anyone who has got a 7950 with a 7950 together ?

Not sure this is of any help but, I dont see why any of the 975x motherboard wont accept your 7950GX2 card, or your sound card.... There is a good read on XS forums a couple weeks ago, that someone is using (I think there were 2x 7950's) on the INTEL bad axe motherboard (which of course supports crossfire) but he was using a "HACKED" nvidia driver to make them work, and all things "seemed" to be working great! Might what to browse around at other forums and use there search feature too see what hacked drivers can do for you.....

I have the 7950 on my asus p5w dh deluxe. Works flawlessly and quad sli will work fine with hacked drivers.I do not have a conroe yet, but I see no reason why an updated CPU core would change video card compatibility.

The ASUS P5B with the new BIOS officially and fully supports the 7950GX2. I wouldn't go for anything but that if you want to use a 7950GX2.

What about the overclocking capabilaties of the board ? Are they any good?

Man i am getting tired seeing the E6600 infront of me everyday , i need the fix and i need it fast.

ive heard the asus has the best overclocking abilities of any conroe board around now...but i havent heard about the dfi boards and a few people have them...
