We know they are the same architecture... But what kind of performance are we expecting from Merom.

Can anyone of you lucky enough with a conroe XE set the FSB down to 667 FSB and clock the core at about 2.33 and see where we stand with some numbers.

Im just curious. k thx :)
 
The large L2 cache seems to make memory bandwidth/FSB less important than it was for P4. So the 2 should be very similar, they should be nearly identical performance wise.

And NO DOUBTEDLY THE FASTEST LAPTOP AROUND.
