People are treating Conroe like it's the second coming of Jesus. People are treating Conroe like it's a disease. Conroe has become a huge debate. I think this thread was necessary.

All this is funny! This is like religions. Everyone believes and agrees with the philosophy in different religions (like "Conroe is fast!"). The only thing that makes them hate and deny, is the false prophets (read fan!!!!s) and disciples who spread "Come to Conroe, only in Him you shall find gaming peace.....". And then they continue "... you AMD infidels...". And then the AMD owners go "whoa! whoa! whoa!... back the fsb truck up!... you should notice that your Conroe was only...". And it goes on.

Myself I own an AthlonXP 2500+ and Radeon9700pro (i owned another AMD before this), and Conroe looks like a real juicy upgrade.
