hello is this the cpu that will be able to handle vista with wase or are we gunna see another intel cpu before vista comes out?
 
No current CPU can handle Vista at all. That beta of Vista that was released recently? Nothing can run it at all.
 
so expect to see another duo core 3? i'l wait fir that 2 come out and wont bother getting a conroe

Hehehe.

There will obviously be more (faster) versions of Conroe before Vista is launched, however, the current Conroes will be more than capable of handling Vista.
 
Aww you guys are wrong. Yes conroe will be able to handle vista theres beta versions out and people have been using it with there current pc's and since conroe the fastest cpu's they should be able to handle vista with no problem.
