Connection problems

Hey, so I've noticed that some games I not only can't connect online, but I can't even find any games in the lobbies. This first happened with Dawn of War II, but since a lot of people seem to be having trouble I wasn't too concerned. But more recently I tried to play soldat online and that didn't work either. I'm connected wirelessly to a Linksys WRT54G router. I have tried to forward the ports used with windows live, I have opened my NAT connection and enabled my UpnP. Concerning Dawn of War II, I can't find the hosted games, but more specifically when I try to play with my friend I get a NAT connection error. Anybody have a way to fix this?

Cheers

leave upnp enabled, you shouldn't need to forward ports unless you're hosting servers yourself.

lack of servers in online games is most frequently caused by wrong patch revision since most master server browsers don't list games with different patch versions to you.

If you don't have the correct patch it will not find a game. Most of the new game servers, unlike the old BF1942 servers, don't keep older versions of the games running.
