Ok, here is the deal. I was playing CS and the power in my house clicked off then back on about 5 seconds later. I turn my computer back on, and can’t connect to the internet. So I check to see if the cable modem/router are on, which they are, they also appear to be functioning correctly. Just to test, I disconnect the router, and hook the modem directly into my sister’s computer – the internet works. I try the same thing with my computer, no dice. I am getting connectivity lights on both modem and comp, but no connection.
So I am stumped.
Any tips/help would be greatly appreciated.
If I left needed info out, let me know.
Thanks.

Onboard or PCI card? Try a different slot if PCI. Are you able to connect to the LAN and not the Internet? If you haven't done so already, reset everything and see what happens.
