Connecting two wireless routers

I have two wireless linksys/cisco wrt54g routers. Can I increase the range with these two routers or not? If so, is there any documentation that can walk me through this procedure. I'm sure someone else had this issue come up here, but the search feature of this forum is not working for me right now.

Linksys makes a signal booster for their B routers so you can increase strength. There are guides that talk about atenna positioning, etc. If you have the G though, i don't think Linksys makes a booster yet.
