• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

I just reformatted because I was getting annoyed of my slow XP install, and i installed all the drivers and everything. I connect to the internet through a wireless router. For some reason i can only go to about 70% of the sites i normally go to...I can go to this website as well as www.kotaku.com, but i cannot go to www.aim.com or www.joystiq.com. Help? :D

I'd suspect malware of spyware of either hijacking the DNS info or something has probably altered your hosts file. Give this a run through and see if anything changes:

HouseCall

Well i tried that and it didn't work :(. I restarted after the scans and fixes were complete but nothing. Any other ideas? And by the way, it is only happening on my computer (not the others in my house) which has a completely fresh install of XP with only mozilla and steam on it.

deleted. can't take the time to read a whole thread and realize i'm asking a stupid question.
