Is it better then a regular tv?
I bought a widescreen LCD (it's on it way) and want to know if it looks better and will it recognize it's widescreen, Do i need special cables?
 
I have mine connected to the 17" Widescreen LCD TV in my sig using S-video. Picture looks great. I keep it hooked up to it instead of my TV since I think it looks better. Some games support widescreen such as Ace Combat 4 and GTA:SA but some don't. I can change my LCD back and forth from 16:9 to 4:3 on the remote though. It just depends on the LCD you want to get/have.
 
I was also wondering about this. I have a Dell 24" Widescreen LCD. 1920x1080 native resolution. Planning on getting PS2 to play Resident Evil 4 ( which is widescrren ) but how will it look? DVD's look pretty bad, hopefully games look better
 
yeah I just bought resident evil 4 :D (it's on its way) and want to know if it's gonna look cooler than my crappy tv (god i hope so).
The thing is my Lcd screen doesn't come with a S-video well View me here is my LCD
