My younger brother has a GeForce 3 Ti200 and is connecting to a Sony Wega via s-video.

Everything is fine up at first. You get the Windows XP loading screen and when it starts to switch to the login screen it only shows lines going up and down the screen.

Any suggestions? I haven't done this before so I am not sure if there is anything else that needs to be done.

Check your resolution. I dunno if s-video will automagically change down to 640x480 or 320x200. Also you might try to run it in dual head first (with a monitor) to more properly configure it.

He's tried both 800x600 and 1024x768.

Unfortunately his card does not go lower than 800x600.

EDIT: Just tried the dual mode. No dice.
