Connecting both hdmi and component to my cable box?

I just bought a Slingbox Pro HD and hooked it up via component cables and spdif. I also have the TV on the same cable box via HDMI and toslink to my surround sound. Are there any issues running two video and audio outputs on this one box at the same time?

Depends on the box and provider. Some will disable the other ports if you are using HDMI/DVI. Time Warner pulled this shit in my area.

Its with Comcast, it works just fine right now. Just wondering if there are any ill effects from doing it.
