Hi. I'll try to make the scenario and question as brief as possible..
- Networked: Three computers on a DI-524 router, one wireless and two wired.
- One wired computer and the laptop are fully connected and operational.
- One, the one I am setting up, can share files and use shared files accross the network and is shown as connected (100MB/s). However, the internet is not accessible on this computer.
- Network Diagnostics (and the Windows Live Messenger Troubleshooter) tell me that there's an issue with the gateway. Diagnostics say,
"DefaultIPGateway = 192.168.0.1(Same Subnet)(FAILED)"
Windows Live Messenger says that my 'default gateway is offline'.
- This computer has a static IP of 192.168.0.103, a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0, and a default gateway of 192.168.0.1 (my router's IP).
I think that's all the necessary information I have. If you require addiitional information, please don't hesitate to ask.
Thank you very much in advance for any help you may be able to offer!
