Hey guys,
I just bought an hp pavilion notebook and plan on buying a dell 2407wfp to go with it. Like most notebooks mine features vga but no dvi. Is it worth it to get this monitor if im going to run it through vga? Do i have any other options instead of using vga?

I've got my Asus V6Va connected to my new 2407 via VGA. It looks great. My notebook has an ATI X700 graphics card which will display the 2407's native resolution of 1920x1200 perfectly. I don't know the graphics card in your HP, but VGA is not a reason not to get a 2407. Hope this helps.

VGA is fine, it will drive that Dell 24" or any other 24" LCD monitor at its native resolution.

Thanks alot. My graphics card is Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator 950 - Core. I know that kind of sucks but oh well. I could either put the money into the processor or the Graphics. I chose processor and im glad I did!
thanks again,
Kevin
