We are buying 2 ADTRAN DSU III's as part of our upgrade from an analog leased line to a digital leased line. I can't find anything through Google which tells me exactly how to connect one to our PC (the other is being sent to the mainframe end of things to add to their rack).
These have an "EIA-232 DTE" interface to connect to the PC - but how? Is EIA-232 the same as RS-232, meaning just a serial cable? Or do I need to get a router or some kind of adapter card between the DSU and the PC?
