ok, ive got a shuttle sn95g6, and i want to watercool it,
however, it seems to have a traditional (exact replica) of a pentium 4 plastic mounting bracket
is this characteristic of a64 motherboards?
my question is, whould i be buying a waterblock with a pentium 4 mounting kit?
or should i get an amd64 mounting kit?

Isn't it fun when motherboards don't follow the specifications? MSI's K8T Master2-FAR is another weird one - it usess really old socket 423 style heatsink mounting for Opterons.

First step is to measure the mounting (and/or post a high res picture) to verify just what style it is.

Do not get an A64 mount for you water block, it will not work with your mainboard's mount. It is very close to the P4 spec or the exact pattern but you'll have to measure center to center points to verify this. You could wait several months for an answer I suppose until I start my Secret Project.

what if i just got a swiftech kit that comes with both types of mounting?

Why don't you just email Shuttle support, it's the best way to get the correct answer instead of all the people guessing. I hate non standard systems.
