I want to buy a 24'' for Internet, watching DVD/DivX and a bit of Photoshop.

The BenQ FP241VW, Dell 2408WFP and Samsung 245T seem to git the bill.

I wanted to see those monitors so I went to Best Buy.
Of they don't have any of those but they have a couple of MVA/PVA and many TN panels (even though the sales guy didn't even know what a "panel" is)

All the monitors were terrible: No contrast, no blacks and blurry.
Except the HP 2207h
This last one is a glossy TN panel and I was impressed by its image quality.
It looks real good.

How do the FP241VW, 2408WFP and 245T compare to the 2207?

You're going to be doing color critical work.

So you'll want to stay away from TN panels.

Any of the other monitors will work just fine.

it only looks good cuz it's glossy. just hope the sun never shines on it.

and i agree with persisting1, *VA def has better color than TN. it's become really obvious ever since I've had my mva panel
