I'm trying to get Service pack 2 from the windows site but everytime i look it up i find ones that states something about unless your and IT person or something do not download this. Is this true? Does anyone have a quick link that i can obtain it at. I have some computer knowledge but if somethings that takes a good deal of computer knowledge i'd rather not do it. thanks.

SP2 is still beta ... and I think there are some drastic changes from the default settings in Windows ... If I were you ... I'd rather wait until they straighten everything out ... and make a list of all the changes ... so that if you need to unmake any setting, it will be easier ...

Well, it warns that it's not for public use because it's still a beta. Why not just wait for the official release?

thanks that's what i meant....finding one that was released for the general public that is.
