Confused/Help?

Hey guys, I finally finished my new pc build. I'll start that thread eventually. I had some overclocking questions, I have a screenshot that shows the right clock in cpu-z..but in orthos and easytune it is way off.

 
Actually the right clock is being displayed by orthos and easytune. It looks like you are running your CPU @ 3.2ghz

CPU-z gets it wrong because of EIST and C1E

You need to disable all CPU thermal options in the bios, such as C1E and EIST and CPU-z will then display the correct information
 
I did disable those. I set my clock in the bios to 400 X 6...that shouldnt be 3200. It would be 2400, like cpu-z is reporting.
 
I went back and checked. I didn't disable the thermal management. While I was in there I went ahead and overclocked to 3.2ghz. 400 x 8. Upped my dimm and fsb voltage by .1 and my cpuv up to 1.35. I'll do a stress test soon.
