confused about which card

Hi

I've heard people refer to cards they use with their LCDs. As I know b....ger all about this sort of thing how do I find out what card I have to start with (I suppose I have a card??) and whether it will support whatever monitor I buy? At the moment I'm thinking about a 21" widescreen. I don't play games.

Go to device manager and then display adapters. that should tell you.

or Start>My Computer>View System information>device manager>display adapters
