Confused about eSATA?

I just got done reading a review about the new Vantec3 external enclosure that features eSATA. I currently have a MSI-K8N Neo4 and I dont think I have eSATA port. Can I buy a PCI-E addon card and add this functionality to my motherboard to take advantage of the lossless transfer speeds provided by eSATA? I assume I can use any SATA drive to use eSATA? Can somone point me to an e-tailor that provides these cards. Due I need to use any other type of cable? (like SATA to eSATA connector from the external enclosure?)

The eSATA NexStar 3 comes with an eSATA-SATA adapter to convert an internal SATA port to an external eSATA port. The included eSATA cable will then go from this adapter to the enclosure.

Cool thanks for the clear up, so all I would really need is the enclosure and a SATA supportive motherboard with a SATA drive and I should be game?
