Confused about cpu-z

Have you downloaded the latest version? I think I was using 1.38 and noticed it was not showing the revision: G0. So I went over and got 1.40.5 and now everything is showing up for my E6750.

Thanks for your replies, but let me be more specific about my hardware.
Here are my specs:
CPU E6850@3GHz
Mobo: ASUS P5K-VM
RAM: Patriot eXtreme Performance 2GB DDR2 800
PSU: ST50EF 500W
Video: BFG 8800GTS 640MB
I use the latest BIOS for the motherboard, in the BIOS the CPU shows up as 3003MHZ.
Also in MB monitor it shows 3004MHz.
Since I've just installed everything there was no "tweakage" done yet.
I also use the latest cpu-z version. It might be nothing to worry about, maybe I'm just paranoid but if I pay for 3GHZ, I want 3GHz;)
 
SpeedStep drops your multiplier from 9 to 6, when the extra power is not needed, thus lowering your speed (and power useage) from 3GHz to 2GHz. It's a good thing if you aren't OCing a lot, or don't turn your PC off.

To see the real speed, just start something which load your cpu like Prime95 or Orthos.

This is Speedstep in action, a good thing to reduce heat to a minimum when idling.
