Greetings my dear friends,

I am confused over the following Dell LCD models:

e228wfp - 22" ws
2007wfp - 20" ws
e207wfp - 20" ws

they all have native resolution of 1680 x 1050.

however, what is the main difference between them?

do they all have hdmi and hdcp?
do they do 1080i?

I'm looking for a good 20"-22" lcd monitor for games and HD dvd at 1080i.

Thank you very much in advance for your opinions............. cheers.

what about 1080p, will they do it?

is HD-dvd 1080p or only 1080i?

this is confusing, christ.

E228wfp - 22" ws No idea what panel it uses but all current 22"'s are using TN afaik...no idea about HDCP but I would assume it is.

2007wfp - 20" ws Used to be 100% S-IPS but now people are getting S-PVA panels....looks like the model just went through a redesign and now has component. HDCP compatible

e207wfp - 20" ws Not really just a cheaper version of the 2007FPW that it appears to be...TN panel, and DVI/VGA inputs only...non-adjustable stand. It is HDCP though iirc..

1080p is impossible on a monitor with a 1680x1050 max resolution...you will need to move up to a 24" if that is important to you.
