I've got a Windows Server 2008 R2 machine with two RAID10 arrays (each with 4x2TB drives) and plan to use iSCSI Target. One of the arrays is completely empty and the other is half full with all the media I use for my media streaming server (Plex). I want to make that data available via iSCSI to a VM running Plex. I also want to create additional targets to be made available to other VM's, most notably I'd like to possibly use the 2nd empty array for backups (images, VHD's, snapshots, etc.). I know how to setup iSCSI targets and connect to them from a client with an iSCSI initiator, however that just creates a blank volume on the client. I'm not sure how to create an iSCSI link to the current data I have residing on my server.
