First I want to say. Yes I know I’m insane.

Now that that’s out of the way ill go into describing this build.

Name: Erualcarin
Type: Remote Control Computer Case and Accessories
Overall Length: 40+ foot with all trailers attached.
Width: 2’
Height: 3’

Longest Single Piece is 13’ 5” long (or 409 cm)

It would actually be considered a road train as it’s a semi trailer design, well 5 of them.

4x pup size or ~20’ trailers and 1 53’ trailer
4x connecting dollies

I am looking for a semi to get the designs from so I can adapt it to fit the engine in the cab

If anyone drives a semi and would be willing to either take a bunch of measurements or are traveling through Indianapolis and would be willing to let me measure it that would be greatly appreciated (Sleeper cabs and stretched chassis are my first choice but any will do.)

Motherboard: EVGA SR-2
Processors: Intel Xeon X5690 (when they come out)
Ram: TBD Looking into 96GB
Videocards: Still debating this.
Power: Istar 2000W Redundant PSU (into Custom Electrical block)

I’m planning on running 2x HWLabs GTX 560’s or TFC Admiral Monsta 700’s when they come out.

A lot of this is still unknown as I’m more focusing on building the case at this point.

Here are some pictures I took from sketchup.

Main Trailer:
Length: 13’ 5”
Width: 25”
Height (Without wheels): 37”

So like, you're building an outdoor computer case out of a semi truck?

I'm lost but intrigued.

That's almost a Rack, that is 40 feet long, are you sure you didn't add where you wanted to subtract? Cause that's like 68 4U full computers.....

I'd have to say, you're definitely crazy if you're building a truck trailer for a single SR-2. That could hold probably 50 times that much hardware.

I'm building a computer case that can travel outdoors yes. It will primarily live indoors.

Yeah, Inside the 2 main top rails is 19.5" I could add a 1/4" to each and make 19" width

40 foot will include a network trailer, a generator trailer, a monitor storage trailer and the main computer trailer.

Yep I may have 2 or 3 systems in it but i doubt it.

So you want to remotely control a trailer?

The trailer will be pulled by a semi (yet to be designed) that will be remote controlled i haven't figured out how i'm going to power it electric, or some kind of engine (i've been tossing around either a JFS-100 Turbine or some small lawn engine)
