As the title says my e6600(3.2ghz) evga 860i, 8800gtx with a 150 raptor are all running flawlessly on my Antec true power 550.

I know its not the best power supply, but I'm switching to an x38 and e8400 or q9450 depending on the q's price at launch and availability of either. I know the e8400 uses less power than the e6600, but I'm aiming for 4.0+ on it. To top it all off Im going to add a water cooling loop to it.

The pump Danger Den DD12V-D5 seems as if it can pull up to 2.1 amps and 55 watts. It worries me because I feel right now I'm somewhere in between 60-80% of 550 watts under full load. I also know that most PSU's become very inefficient and unstable at a continuous 90% load. That doesnt mean that my system wont putz around the desktop fine, but Im worried under full load, where my pump is at max speed, I'm going to experence some problems.

Any input?

Thanks
Michael
