Sorry if this is in the wrong thread section but thanks for the help in advance. This is my first build and my problem is i want to test out the computer to make sure it's running okay but I don't have a Graphics card yet still waiting for the 580 to come in.However, I still want to make sure my case fans worked. I read that the problem maybe that I have a bad Motherboard because when I plug my PSU into the outlet and I turn on the Psu and Comp nothing happens the only thing that happens is my Motherboard Asus p8p67 green Led light turns on which is called SB PWR(Standby Power). The fans don't turn on,nothing happens. Could it be because I don't have a Graphics card yet? I'll post some pictures of my set up at the bottom in case looking at it may help I still have Cable Management and Sleeving to do.Also my case is a Silverstone Ft02.Also my LED power light wont go on either.Thank you.

when you press the power button is there any activity at all? if a fan kind of moves or a light blinks, it may be a short or bad ground.

If it is completely dead maybe the power wire/jumper on the motherboard is backward...or power switch is bad. try manually jumping by touching the power pins with a screw driver.

This would be the first thing i do all you have to do, then take the motherboard out of the case and try it.

Could be a bad board or bad power switch.

Thanks for the replys, so all I do is touch it with a screwdriver? do I leave it plugged in? Also do I try this in my case or out of it?

To answer your question there is no activity what so ever. Just he green LED on the Motherboard.

You want to touch the 2 pins "pwr sw" In that image.

Plugged in, power supply on. In or out of case.
