The motherboard power led and nic leds both light up, so its not a power problem. It's not a video card problem becuase my other video card didnt work either. After turning it on the hard drive led stays lit, although more dimly than usual. Fans and everything turn on and the hard drive spins once or twice then stops. The monitor stays dark. What pissed me off though was that the motherboard didnt beep, no now i have no idea what the problem is, though im thinking its the motherboard...

Keep in mind for a couple weeks i was busy dissasembling my computer to cut holes in my case for the heater core. I also left the cpu water block on. The heater core started leaking but all the dripping water missed the motherboard.

please help

did you clean out the case really thorough after you cut it up and stuff?

what kind of power supply are you running?

try only one stick of ram, if it doesn't work try that one stick in another slot.

if that doesnt work, take the whole motherboard off the tray and have only ram, video card, cpu and hard drive hooked up to it and power it up.

It could be more than the vid card... i've seen that a millino times.. and people think "oh it's the vid card".. and turns out the motherboard is fried... to be sure.. get a working video card.. and test..
