When I boot the computer, it gives a short beep like usual but it never gets continues after the memory check and it won't let me into the BIOS setup. If I pull the ram, it gives three long beeps which is normal. I've tried all the components in another computer and they all work fine. Is it just time to replace the motherboard?

AMD X2 4400+ (939)
Abit AV8-SLI
2gb OCZ Performance Series

I would do some research on the POST beeps, maybe run memtest even though your other computer can boot with them, try the power supply in the other computer. That will help narrow it down more. Then if they all pass then replace the mobo.

The POST beeps are normal. The first short beep means that it POST's successfully, and the 3 long beeps is a memory error. The power supply is testing fine as well.
