Just installed stuff you see in sig. After turning on computer it keeps rebooting....what can the problem be?

it reads it when the cmos is in reset mode. it reboots right before the xp screen with a blue screen that flashes for a split mili second.

When you say you just installed all that hardware..... are you using a preivous install of windows from different hardware????

that's a really good question.. cause if you didn't reinstall the OS, most likely it won't boot up..

I second the question about the OS install. What you are describing can easily be explained by old drivers being loaded by the OS for non-existent hardware.

another good question is, what Power Supply are you using?

If you've recycled a PS from an older rig, chances are it isn't sufficient to power your new system.

Yep! and it would do it exactly after the splash screen...quick blue screen, and reboot... Got to reinstall first...... (Hey, I've done it before too...) :)

I got it guys! I just took out the cpu and put it back in and reinstalled XP. Everything is up now. Thanks for the help I appreciate it.
