Hey guys.
I'm having problems connecting to certain internet applications after removing and installing newer nForce chipset drivers. My computer would freeze and the cpu was sticking at 100% alot, so I would have to reboot. It seems with the new drivers I don't have this problem anymore. NOW I can't connect to mirc,yahoo, msn & my konfabulator widgets can't access the internet. This is striking me as odd since I can connect to aim and access these forums ( obviously )

And before anyone asks my board is an Asus A8N SLi Premium

EDIT : I also tried connecting on ventrilo, and its a NO go. It seems the programs that have the option to connect through different user specified ports wont connect.

Firewall(s) would be the first thing to check to make sure they are letting apps through outgoing ports.
