Ok it is the computer in my sig.

Had it for a long long time (built in 05)

The issue started maybe a few months ago, and a few restarts always powered up for me. Nothing happened between turning off the computer and trying to turn it on the next morning.

Now it is turning on all the fans and hard drives spinning up but monitor never gets a signal to turn on.

I have 3 leds lit up on my motherboard.

Is it the video card?

The Ultra-D is finicky. Try another PSU if you can -- and the ultra d is picky about which PSUs it will play nice with, btw. Also try another vidcard. Do you get any POST Error beeps?

I do not get any beeps from it

Hopefully will get to try another video card tomorrow if I can get a friend to bring his over.

its more likely the psu than the vidcard, but you never know... have him bring his PSU, too, lol.

So I took my computer over to his house. Popped my video card into his computer and his did the same acting like it would boot then hang and restart never sending a signal to the monitor.

Wasn't able to toss his video card onto my board because he had some monster 8800 that I didn't have a connector for.

So last night I ordered this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131169
hopefully it will let me play World of Goo and the occasional CS 1.6 lol

Being a unemployed recent college grad with bills spending a lot of money on a 5 year old computer seemed foolish. So hopefully that will tide me over till I can upgrade the whole system.

DFI's are finicky on average
first thing I'd do is clear the CMOS and start over, but who knows if that'll help

hopefully the video card will fix it, based on your troubleshooting (but I've had systems reboot loop with perfectly working video cards, due to something silly like an IRQ conflict or Windows just not liking your hardware change for troubleshooting), the 3650 is fast enough to handle the games you listed (as an upside) :)
