Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Get yourself an S-Video cable to run the video over (higher quality). I don't know what kind of sound outputs your computer has, but at very least I assume it has onboard sound. Here's what I did with that situation:
I picked up a Y-splitter for the 1/8" line out on the computer. Pluged my computer speakers into one jack. In the other was a cable that converted the 1/8" jack to the Red/White left/right audio inputs on my TV.
That way I can use my computer speakers when I want, and TV audio when I want. (ps. make sure all the cables are stereo so you can preserve the left and right audio channels)
