I have a 6600GT which i just hooked up to my TV.

You plug this thing with like 5 outputs on it(svideo,audio,i think a green and purple) ANYWAYS i have the svideo connected so im getting display. How do I get audio???
I have tried running the audio from the TV to the video card which doesnt work which makes sense but HELP ME :D
 
I'm gonna guess you need to find a Converter or something first before you can get audio from your Comp to your TV.
 
hint... try using your sound card, not the video card, for audio... :)

I dont really know what type of reciever you have, but you are most likely gonna need a minijack to RCA cable. You can get them at Radioshack, and you plug that into the reciever.
EDIT: like the previous posters said, you need to plug in the audio card. I'm assuming from your sig that it is an Audigy, so how you hook it up is going to depend on your audio equipment. Post some specifics about your setup, and then we can help.
 
If I was a mean person, I would quote that and put it in my sig. BUT, im not sure if it beats the "I don't known when windows 95 came out" one by wonder nerd....

Oh man, that's just wrong in so many ways........... the audio FROM the tv TO the video card............ the audio signal ain't even going in the right direction..................

Anyway, yes, you will need to connect the TV to your sound card. It will be a 1/8" to RCA connector. You connect the two RCA jacks into the TV's "Audio input" where you have the S-Video cable connected to. That way, when you switch to the video input it will also have sound. ^_^, nifty.
