Hi, I have £100 to sort out my sound. I have no headphones an no sound card. What should I buy? Full £100 on headphones? Cheap card and good headphones? Or decent both? Help!

Probably a usb dac like the Behringer UCA222 and a pair of headphones by Sennheiser would be your best cheap ticket.

My Razer Kraken's don't work with my soundcards even so I have to use onboard. I say if you have a motherboard that is 3-4 years old the HD sound should be pretty good. My Mic just doesn't work with my soundcards but the headsets speakers do.

When the headsets speaker not work then it have a problem with software...
When the Mic does not work then there something wrong in sound and device setting...
When the volume is not working that is the time to check the compatibility of the audio driver...
Analyze the consequence of the problem...
