For the past couple of months (I believe this problem began in the beginning of July), my computer will sometimes shut itself off when it is going into hibernation. It makes it to the black screen but then keeps running until I either hold the power switch in to shut it down or wait 20-30 minutes to shut itself off. It happens about 33% of the time. I get no error messages.
Nvidia drivers and Windows are up-to-date, but some of my motherboard drivers may not be.
Specs:
i5 2500K @ 4.6Ghz | ASUS P8P67 Pro | 8GB GSkill Ripjaws | GTX 680 | 5.14TB | Corsair TX850W | Windows 7
Is it as simple as updating my motherboard drivers? Bad RAM? I didn't add any new components near this time.
