Hey guys long time reader first time poster. I need a second opinion on my problem. In January I upgraded my 3000+ to an opteron 165. then a month ago I bought a 640 GTS. I had my 165 oc'd to 2.7 and when I put in the GTS I my comp would just shutdown at random times when I was gaming. I thought it might be the power to the apartment I'm in cause we get brown outs alot so I bought and Opti-UPS AVR which made things better but I'm still getting random shutdowns when playing. I had the GTS oc'd to 613 core and 907 mem but had to clock it down to keep it from shutingdown.
My system specs are Enermax 530w, Abit AN8 SLI, 2gb RAM,eVGA 8800 640 GTS, Opteron 165 @ 2.7, 3 HDD, 2 DVD drives.
Do you guys think its just too much for my PSU? or maybe the AVR is enough and I should buy a UPS?

What happens when all the speeds are at stock? Does it crash then?

If it's the Enermax 631p 530w, which only has 20a, then I highly suggest a new power supply. An overclocked 8800GTS and Opteron take a Lot of juice. May I suggest the Corsair HX 520, which boasts twice the amperage (40a) on the +12v rail, and is only $96 shipped from Zipzoomfly.com after Mail in rebate?

I think my Enermax is the 535w with dual 12 volt rails and 18 amps per rail. Thanks for all the help!
