I upgraded from a dual core, 4 gb DDR2, 8800 GTS,

to a laptop with 6GB DDR3 Triple channeling, A DDR3 1GB 280X, and a i7 Quad core.

My computer loads games slower than my old computer.. I can't figure out why.

I JUST got my computer, it may be drivers. nvidia says I shouldnt download my driver through them... although it's their card..?
