Computer randomly shuts off, memory issue?

I recently installed my old OCz Platinum ddr3 sticks, and all of a sudden when I am browsing the internet my computer will randomly turn off. No BSOD, no freeze, just turns off as if I had pulled the plug.

I assume this is a memory issue, should I loosen the timings? I am at a loss here, these sticks were rock solid the last time I used them. Any advice is appreciated!
 
Easiest way to tell would be to swap in some other RAM if you have any to check it out. Usually RAM will BSOD but I guess it could be a possibility.
 
I had problem like that once long time ago but i think it was my psu, chances are its memory if theres been no problems until you just swapped out the ram though.
 
Memtest+ dos version always works the best. i can never get window working right.
 
It's just such a strange issue, because it only happens when loading web pages with high rez pics or flash media on them. Happening almost EVERY time I'm in the Steam application.

It does NOT happen during games, or on forum sites like H. I ran several antivirus apps, reg cleaners, etc. Still just happens randomly.

I'll run memtest I suppose, we shall see.
 
If you run the memtest+ program (bootable iso) I recommend you run it overnight at minimum. That is unless you have a failure on the first pass..
