Just as the title says. It seems Teamspeak is causing me to randomly reboot. After it justs, Windows has recovered from a serious error, report or not, etc. Any ideas why? If it happens again, which it probably will, I will take a screenie of the details and post them, till then, any ideas?

well the obvieous needs tried first...

uninstall reinstall teamspeak....

remove all that is team speak from registry (if possible) then reinstall teamspeak again
check to make sure you have latest version of teamspeak
download TS again even if you have same version incase you install is corrupt

if that does not work run memtest make sure you don't have a RAM problem... also google around to see if TS has an incompatibility/bugs with other software/games you may be running

Just got it, I reinstalled TS once already, I'll do it again.

Check the sound card. There might be an issue with the processing of the game audio and the audio from TS. If you can run TS fine within windows and play any audio sample then, it is something within the game audio processing that is causing the crash. I noticed that running TS and WOW causes the Latest soundblaster drivers to produce a horrible screech sound. After closing and reloading TS it corrects itself.

I would first attempt to run the game in windowed mode and then load TS. You may take the 5% performance hit but atleast you will not overtax you system by Alt-tabing out.

Get back to us with the Game and the sound card that you are using. Also if it is onboard let us know what audio drivers you are using if it is nvidia.

Onboard, nvidia nvmixer. It crashes even before I log in or anything, just when I open it. I was just playing HL2 for like 3 hours, no crashes.

Now that I am home from the office. Switch to using the wave drivers and also check out the goteamspeak website and head on over to thier forums. When all else fails check out the forums of the product that seems to work wonders. Hope that works. I will see what else I can find out. But I would first switch on over to the wave settings. I noticed that alot of people have been having problems using the onboard nvida audio and doing that fixed alot of their problems.

Anyone at all? Damn, I've googled this for 2 days in a row, nothing, I've found people with the same problem, no solution. It's not a hardware problem, thats for sure. Anyone ever have this problem? Comeone, I've seen so many people have their weird problems resolved here, I would like mine too.

Teamspeak is the weakness to my computer. Dumb Krytponite.
