Hi,

my computer won't initialize windows. here's what's happened and what I've done.

So I took my hard drive out yesterday and plugged it up to my brother's computer to transfer files. After that, I picked it up, and left it on an ESD bag for about an hour, then came back and plugged it up. The computer posted, and it got into the windows loading screen, but that little green bar kept going and after about 10 minutes, I BSOD'd with an error message reading something along the lines of "initialization_Failure." I thought it might have been a one time problem (windows xp.... lol) so I rebooted and tried again. This time, I got a BSOD with no error message displayed. After maybe the 3rd or 4th time, I started getting blue screens with writing that only said "Hard error." I've checked my cables and switched them, i switched the connectors on the board. The motherboard detects my hard drive.

Also, to add to this, i thought it might have been completely a software issue and thought maybe Xp killed itself so i decided to reinstall windows. I put in the disk, and it gets to the "loading system configurations" and the computer turns off and posts again... All my settings are default right now, timings are default, everything is turned off. What should I do?
