hello I had my computer working, and turned it off last night (no problems) it sucessfully dhut down... now, this morning, It wont turn on.. no power gets to it.. not even the green light on the motherboard.. But it was off.. I dont know what the problem is..

Please help!

This blows.. what would cause a power supply to blow when its 1.) turned off and 2.) plugged into a surge protector

Maybe you've simply blown your power supply's internal fuse. Every PSU has one. You'll have to take it apart to find out though. Cheaper PSU's have it soldered directly onto the PCB, more expensive ones will let you replace it more easily. Either way, it's a slightly smaller size than normal household fuses so you'll have to go out your way to find a replacement.

Obviously you'll have to test the fuse with a multimeter to make sure it's dead and it's the fault. If not, then the PSU is simply just dead and you'll have to get a replacement.

What PSU is it? Is the PC a custom built or a like a Dell that's still under warranty?

its customly built.. the power supply came with my computer case... (NZXT Nemesis)

Can sum1 show me a picture of what i nee to look at?

Unplug it from the wall, wait 15 sec, plug it back in, restart.. If you are lucky and it starts, leave it on until you either get a new PSU or MOBO.
