Computer not posting with new mobo I bought: a Foxconn G31mxp-k mobo to replace an older diff. motherboard because EVGA said it's memory controller died. This was in a core 2 quad ddr 800 mobo. With this new mobo installed nothing will post on its onboard video and i get these loud medium-fast beeps that don't stop.. I get a slower beep with no ram installed. Can't seem to find any help from foxconn website. kind of clueless. I don't think it's the mobo because this is my second of the same model..

Kind of stupid that I only get a quick start guide.
 
Look up the Beep codes for your BIOs type. I.e Awards BIOs or AMI. Find out what those beeps mean
 
nada, tried diff. PSU in the mean time as well and same continuous beep. I'm about to try ram combinations and swap HDD and maybe cd drive..
