I tried turning on my comp this morning and i get no bios beep and nothing shows on the monitor. Also, the HDD light stays lit. Could it be a HD problem? I would still expect a bios beep though. What could be my problem?

i have the same problem, im trying to run my rig but the monitor wont turn on
what motherboard do you have?
does your keyboard and mouse works?
what type of ram do you use and what voltage?
i did a little reserach since i have the same problem
im using asus p5n-e sli plus with patriot ram and the voltage is 2.0 and i;ve read that for my mobo i need 2.2 voltage to work properly and since i cant see anything on my monitor i cannpot change that
also i think it might be motherboard since my mouse, keyboard and one of the fans is not working and all of those components are attached to the motherboard
the things that work are cpufan, gpufan, dvd drive, and of course the weirdest thing is that the mobo led light is green which means mobo is fine
try taking out all of the components and reseat them, i heard it helped some people
if you have more than one ram stick than maybe try turning your pc with only one stick, and then with the other
if not then if you have anybody who have a similar computer try switching your components and see what is not working (sucks for me since nobody i knows has a computer like me)
also try clearing cmos(reffer to your manual from the motherboard)

The first problem is that it didnt past POST. If thats the case, i prolly would check out your power supply first, is there any fans humming or the hdd spinning?? Afterwards your mobo, processor, and see if your cables are all connected, especially the hdd.
So, i would go with the power supply first.

Sorry for the late responses. Thanks for the help. I came home and reset the CMOS and it works. Not sure why this happened, but it's fixed now. Thanks guys.
