I came back from vaction,7 days in Cape Cod,pushed that power buttom, but nothing happened.I'm guessing it's the Power suply. What else could it be ?

I have my monitor/printer/lamp etc... plugged to the surge protector. The only thing that doesn't work is the PC.
Funny thing is when I 1st turned on,the little red led under the power button came on for a second, then I tried back again nothing happened.

Thanks

If the LED came on then switched off, sounds like your PSU died. Was it name brand or generic? Probably have to replace it...

Thanks

The quality of the power supply is more important than the wattage rating...for example: a high quality 300w supply is going to be more trouble free than a 400w cheap generic. Having said that I recommend a high quality 350-450w power supply to allow for future power hungry components.

Given that I'd get one of the Antec PSU. Either the 350 or the 430 depending on how much you want to spend. Good luck.

Have you checked to make sure nothing has died inside while you were gone? It might sound funny, but it happens alot.

Cheers.
