I'm buying a computer specifically for high resolution photo editing. A few questions.

1.Is 1 gig of ram enough or would 2 gig's be much better?
2.Should I get AMD or Intel?
3.Is an ATI Radeon X300 SE good or should I get faster?

For photo editing, or any other multimedia application, Intel is the best way to go. 1 gig of RAM should be fine, 2 is overkill. You should get a better video card. For a budget system, the 6600GT is good. For high-end, the 6800 Ultra/GT reigns supreme.
