well i got a 2005fpw, so i decided to pick up the vga cable well i have come to find out that my motherboard (asus a8n-e) doesnt want to recognize the 360s sound out put, i have the little adapter plugged into the blue port on the back of my mobo, and the little sound center thing tells me the cable is connected but it says that there is no signal, well if i get some extra speakers i have i can touch the two cables together and i get sound, i dont know why but the the mobo says that there is not sound out put? i have the most updated drivers, aslo my mobo wont out put sound to normal analog speakers, right now im using the digital out to a reciever.

edit: also when i shut down i get some breif sound from my speakers like the mobo is allowing the sound.

wait, the blue port is the line in port right?

Make sure you got the sound cable plugged into a input jack. Check your mobo's err.. booklet.

well the sound gui says the blue is input, it says that the cable is connected but no signal, also checked to make sure that line in wasnt turned off in windows and its not

edit: i think something is wrong with my integrated sound because it wont even out put any analog signals to normal computer speakers even with the 360 unpluged

well i tried older drivers and got the input to work but still doesnt work with line out, but i dont use that anyway so i guess its fixed now.
