A few days ago I started getting BSODs. My computer would restart, and won't see the OS drive (a 128GB m4) in BIOS (thus not being able to boot into Windows). If I disconnect the drive and re-connect it, I can boot into Windows until it BSODs again.
So I set that drive aside and installed Windows on a 64GB m4. Everything was fine for about a day until I started getting similar BSODs, but this time it actually tells me Windows failed to load as if it realizes Windows 7 is installed (however I still don't see the drive in BIOS). Reconnecting the drive again temporarily solves the issue. Fixes everything for about an hour.
What I've tried:
* Different SATA cables
* Different SATA controllers (both Marvell and Intel)
* Used a different power connector
* Checked motherboard (P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3) BIOS (already up to date)
Checked for crash dump files, doesn't appear any were made. Only thing I managed to catch witnessing the BSODs as they happened was "STOP 0x000000F4"
Trying to update the firmware on one of the m4s now. Seems to me there's a slim chance they're the culprit, though?
