Compusa and Bestbuy

dont forget that this is an ALL IN WONDER 9600XT, not just a normal 9600xt. they will probebly cost you like $250 at newegg. so its not THAT much of a ripoff. but u will always expect to pay more in a retail store anyways.

The main reason it is a ripoff is because Compusa or Best Buy had the 9800 Pro All in Wonder for $250 a couple weeks ago.

but the average user they sale too dont know the diff between a 9600xt and the 9800

I only order from places like Best Buy, CompUSA, Officemax, Office Depot and so on when they have special sales which is every few days if you check the hot deals websites. You can get things sometimes alot cheaper then if you were buying from Newegg or ZipZoomFly.

But for normal every day purchases theres no reason to shop at any of them because their prices are inflated compared to other hardware vendors.

As soon as you learn a little about business, you'll understand why brick and mortar stores will almost always be more expensive.

The egg has been nothing but excellent to me. So I will continue to go straight there because of their service and their price is normally no more expensove then like 3 bucks compared to pricewatch.

Glad you pointed that out. I thought it was a 9600XT I was looking at, with a 200% price hike. That I laughed at.

$50 more than newegg is to be expected. That's not bad for a B&M.

Ya I'm not sure which I would buy:rolleyes: man are they retarded.

I only buy from stores like that when they have a good deal. Like when I bought my 9800 Pro for $300 on sale when newegg had it for $330'ish. Or when I buy hard drives, I buy from retail stores. Always cheaper after rebates. Or if I need to pick up little things, like a new mouse, or a 21:30 run to CC to get thermal paste because I was building my computer and couldn't remember where I put mine...lol

Newegg has them for $262 with free shipping. Price isn't too bad once you factor in over night shipping and all (over night to Colorado bumps up the price to $ 282.64) so it's not too much of a rip off once you think about it alittle.
